I inherited my late grandfather’s car when he passed away in 2020, and that car was really special to me. I was absolutely devastated when I got into an accident a year ago and that car was unsalvageable. That is where my idea for a very sentimental car came from. I got extremely attached to that car, as if a piece of my grandfather still lived within it, and losing it was almost like losing him a second time. That kind of attachment is what I want to portray with Peter and his dad’s car.

When Jack offered me the opportunity to work with him in this production, I read through what the pitch was describing for this film and it intrigued me and made me more eager to bring this Film to life. I think The Car from Memory Lane holds a beautiful story of understanding when it’s time to let go of your grief for the betterment of one’s person.

WRITER

I love this story idea since it’s a feeling we can all relate to, losing something special, especially when it connects us to our parents. It’s a nice way to be reminded of the good times with our parents.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

This project has been one massive journey has been one hell of a ride and am excited to bring it to life alongside the director. I’ve learned a lot throughout this project, both creatively and technically. Even through all the hardships, working with this crew has been an absolute joy.

PICTURE EDITOR

When Jack told me his inspiration for the story, I knew right away that it’s something I want to be a part of. The story carries a powerful message and an emotional theme. I’ve always been wanting to work with Jack and I’m so grateful for this opportunity that I got to finally do so. Working with Jack and the rest of the crew was an absolute joy ride and I hope the story that we deliver will bring you a sense of belonging.

SUPERVISING SOUND EDITOR

I was involved in the early stages of pre-production, and was excited to continue working on The Car from Memory Lane as it evolved into the story it would become. Dealing with the loss of someone you love is something we all inevitably have to face, so I believe this story is an important one to tell. I am happy to have gotten the opportunity to help tell this story through its soundscape.

When I was asked to work on this project, I couldn’t be more excited! I am so happy that I get to help tell this amazing story through set design. Working with the cast and crew has been an amazing experience. Truly the best on set experience! Enjoy the film!

I knew Jack by name before and had seen some of his films before, so when the chance came up to work for his team I was excited to join! It was truly a wonderful atmosphere that was created, one of the best crews I have worked with!

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

I have worked with my good friend Jack before on two other projects, so I was naturally very excited to work with him again. My Grandfather owns a beautiful old car, so the film's story really resonated with me.

COMPOSER

I was eager to work on this project and explore the emotions surrounding the loss of a parent at a young age. With a parent currently battling an aggressive cancer, it has been cathartic to bring many of my feelings from the past year into this score and soundtrack.
